Sue is an experienced management professional with skills in leadership, relationship building, business development and strategic planning. After serving 20+ years in the banking industry, she discovered a more profound passion for impacting Arkansas children through her work as marketing director with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, followed by serving as executive director for Economics Arkansas for 13 years. Sue now is bringing her cumulative expertise to create a health revolution on K-12 school campuses!
Sue graduated summa cum laude from John Brown University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in organizational management. She is originally from Iowa, but has lived in Arkansas for 38 years and considers herself a Razorback through and through! Sue and her husband Ed enjoy spending time with daughter Ellen Serafini, and son, Booth Owens, and their spouses and Sue’s newfound joy in life is spending time with her two handsome grandsons, Paul and Max. Sue enjoys hiking in the natural beauty of our state, plus she also adores cooking as a creative outlet.
