Alicia is in charge of developing outreach materials and programming support. She has been with the organization for over two years and brings expertise in public health education and program design. Alicia has her master’s degree in public health from UAMS and a bachelor’s in kinesiology from Arkansas State University. She is an ACE-certified health coach and will have her health education specialist certification (CHES) in October 2018.
Alicia served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the South Pacific island nation of Fiji from 2011 to 2013. During her time there she designed health education initiatives and helped implement numerous wellness campaigns around the country. She also spent a significant amount of time snorkeling and eating coconuts.
